2026 Melbourne Vipers – Program Director, Head & Assistant Coach Applications

Volleyball Victoria is seeking applications for the following positions in the Melbourne Vipers Super League Club:
1 x Program Director (sitting across both Men's and Women's Programs) - Position Description CLICK HERE

All positions are strictly for a one (1) year appointment.
Applications for all positions close 5pm Wednesday 18th February.
Subject to applications, the appointment timelines are outlined below:
The Program Director will be appointed by no later than Friday 20th February.
Interviews for the Head Coach positions will be conducted the week of Monday 23rd February.
Assistant Coaches will be appointed by no later than Friday 9th March.
The 2026 AVSL Season is set for 5 regular season rounds + finals between October 2026 - November 2026. All successful applicants must be available for the trials, training sessions and match days outlined in their respective position descriptions.

The Program Director should be appropriately qualified to provide leadership, guidance and oversight to all coaches with regards to selection, planning, training, game plan development, match day management and athlete development, within a high performance environment.
The Head Coach should be appropriately qualified and experienced to lead a successful Super League campaign, be prepared to work with appointed Assistant Coaches who complement their skillsets and within the parameters of the program set out by Volleyball Victoria, and be a unifying coach open to bringing together the Victorian community through fan engagement and commercial opportunities. Head Coaches will be expected to plan for trials and work closely with the Volleyball Victoria Pathways Manager and Vipers Program Coordinator on the implementation of this program.
