All Volleyball Victoria affiliated clubs and associations are required to have participants in their competitions, programs, or events purchase an appropriate membership before playing.

Your club and association membership price includes Volleyball Victoria Registration that covers the cost of personal accident insurance, member protection, and child-safe policies for the individual member for the duration of the membership. It also allows access to participate in specific events and helps cover the costs associated with organising and administering those events (National Championships, Schools Cups, Country Champs, VVL and State Leagues for example). A portion of each membership supports services back to clubs and associations, as well as collectively to the Victorian volleyball community, allowing additional advocacy for local grants and funding, access to facilities, club health and education resources, coaching and refereeing courses, and pathway programs.

What is the season rollover?

To enable members to register for the new season, VV needs to undertake a rollover of the RevSPORT portal before April 1st.  This will put all members of the ending season into the archive.  Season 2025/6 rollover will be occuring on Thursday 15th January 2026. VV allow up to 3 working days to have the new membership season ready.

What is the first thing to do post-rollover?

Create your new payment classes.  Your members won't be able to register until you set up your payment classes and link them to VV capitation fees.  You will be able to set up your payment classes from Midday Friday 16th January 2026.  If you wish to use the same payment classes as last year, you can bring them forward in bulk using the utilities feature in the finance tab.  These can then be edited to update new fees or name changes.  You can also reach out to the VV office to assist creating and linking to the correct capitation fees.  

In addition to payment classes, it is recommended updating website, terms & conditions and additional information field questions to match the new season registration.

Where are my members and how can I locate them?

Members are archived with a rollover which makes their memberships inactive.  This is so they can renew their profiles into the new season, pay the new season's registration fees and review any adjusted policies adapted by the association, state or national body of Volleyball.   Administrators who are brought forward as active and UNPAID members by default with the rollover. No data is lost with a rollover, but the members are now in your archives. You can still search for and report on members that are in your archive.

SEARCH:

1. Members > search > tick include members not active this season > search
2. Scroll below your current members to see your archived ones.
3. Members > Reporting > change Export seasonal datra from to the previous season > tick Exclude members from the current season > generate report

How do I email members from the previous season?

This can be done via Members > email members > change seasons to the previous one > tick Exclude members from the current season > create the content and send the email.

Members can be emailed post-rollover so you can prompt them to renew their memberships for the new season or provide them with updates for the new season despite them still being archived.

How do members access registration?

Members need to select their club via the membership hub and follow the link to register via their club portal.  Clubs must have payment classes set up for this to occur.  Returning Members for the previous three seasons (2023, 2024 & 2025) will retain their log in details.  If a member cannot access their previous email, they can contact memberships@volleyballvictoria.org.au for assistance.  Any member that did not participate in the past three seasons (2023, 2024 & 2025) will be required to create a NEW MEMBERSHIP.

Can clubs import members, or should the members register/renew themselves?

VV do not accept club-importing memberships. Members are required to complete their own registration/renewal process as this involves agreeing to the terms of registration which each individual must complete.

Can members be linked to more then one club?

Yes.  Members can join multiple clubs to particpate in various activities.  For example, a person may be a member of one club to participate in VVL, a second club to participate in a weeknight social league and a third club to participate in an academy training program.  This is their choice.  Volleyball Victoria Registration is only payable once for a FULL YEAR membership.  The appropriate membership level must be purchased to cover them for the select activity.  Generally a FULL ADULT Registration will enable the member to participate in any activity supported by Volleyball Victoria and its affiliated associations/clubs.  A Recreational Registration will enable the member to participate in local leagues run by affiliated associations/clubs and any spikezone/training.

How will funds be received from membership sign ups?

RevSPORT via PIN PAYMENTS will now pay clubs and VV split directly.  Clubs will receive their portion of membership to their nominated bank account.  VV will receive the registration fees directly without the need for clubs to reconcile.  The payments will generally be recieved within 24 hours of the transaction. Funds are received daily into the clubs/associations accounts.  Financial reports can be run to check details of funds received.

Payment Class Options for Clubs/Associations

All Clubs/Associations must set up payment classes to enable their members to join their club/association.  Your club/association may include fees direct to your club/association if desired.  When communicating membership pricing, clubs/associations must take into account the VV registration required.  Payment classes MUST be linked to a capitation fee (VV Registration).  Below are the main capitation fees for season 2026.

Single Event/Tournament VV Registration - This option has been set up in Temporary memberships and has been created for clubs/associations running tournaments (1 - 4 days in length) to attract players that aren't currently registered with a Volleyball Victoria affiliated club/association.  A participant can select this type of registration to cover them for the dates of that event/tournament only without needing the full year Recreation registration that is generally required.  Participants may find it cheaper to purchase a Recreational registration if they are going to be doing more than one event/tournament.  The cost of the single event/tournament VV registration is a per day cost.  ie 1 day = $8, 2 days = $16, 3 days = $24.

How do we set up a payment plan?

1. Set up two payment classes by navigating to Finance > payment classes > add payment classes
   1. create one payment class with full amount
   2. create another payment class with value $0 (for the payment plan version)
2. Member registers and selects either full payment OR payment plan option
3. After member registers, upgrade them to the full payment member
   1. navigate to member and upgrade member
   2. confirm NO capitation fee will be charged and click generate invoice
   3. navigate to Finance > payment plans
   4. enter reference number from the upgrade invoice generated
   5. set payment plan frequency and number of instalments

We already have a website, do we need to replicate it on RevSPORT?

No, you are welcome to continue using your club website if you wish. You can include the link to RevSPORT for member registrations.

Where do we go to get help with using RevSPORT and its features?

In the administration view of RevSPORT, click on the help button in the top right-hand corner. This will take you to the RevSPORT Help Centre where it is possibel to lodge a support ticket by clicking ASK FOR HELP. There are also tutorials, webinars and articles explaining how to set up and sue all of the features in RevSPORT.
