Volleyball Victoria Inc (Volleyball Victoria) is committed to ensuring that children and young people who participate in its activities have a safe and happy experience. Volleyball Victoria supports and respects children, young people, staff, volunteers and participants.


Volleyball Australia (VA) is the national governing body recognised by the Federation Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) which is the international governing body of volleyball to administer and control the sport of volleyball in Australia.

In turn, Volleyball Victoria Incorporated (VVI) as a Member State is an entity recognised under the VA Constitution to administer the sport of volleyball in the State of Victoria.

Volleyball Victoria agrees to assist and participate with VA in the promotion and administration of volleyball in Australia on the understanding that, as a Member State, it must comply with certain conditions and performance criteria. VA and VVI have come to a mutual agreement as to how they can promote and develop the sport of volleyball in Australia and VVI has agreed to empower VA in the manner identified, so that the parties can, through carrying out their mutual obligations to, meet their goal of promoting and developing the sport of volleyball in Australia.

VVI is governed by a Board of volunteer Directors who oversee the Strategic direction of the Association. The Board of Directors is elected by the affiliated membership that comprises of currently 17 Regional Incorporated Associations, 4 Metro Incorporated Associations and 22 Incorporated Clubs. The Board in turn are responsible for the recruitment and monitoring of Senior Management who are responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of VVI.
