2022 State League Awards Dinner

On Saturday 10th September, Volleyball Victoria completed it’s 2022 State League Season with the annual awards dinner. We were extremely excited to be holding the event for the first time since the Covid-19 Pandemic hit the sporting community.
Over 200 guests enjoyed the night at the Manningham Hotel with 61 awards presented. Melbourne University Renegades took out the Tomas Santamaria Shield on 55 points. Monash University Volleyball Club finished second on 45 points and Dandenong Volleyball Club rounding out the top three with 43 points.
Our Referee of the year award went to Rori Van Huizen and the contribution to refereeing went to Daniel Goodwin.
Female Rising Star was awarded to Melbourne University Renegades Chloe Jacobi, while the male rising star went to Monash University’s Sam Kay.
